Javascript GetTime() Function

The getTime() method of date object returns numeric value of specified date. Use it for example to get numeric value of specified date.

Syntax

dateObj.getTime()

var my_date0=new Date();

document.write(my_date0.getTime() + "</br>");

This will produce following result

1423453437583
592645440000
