HTML Password Tag

Password field is used to get user input but instead of displaying the entered text, it disguise each character with an asterisk (*) . When the user enters a password, it offers him on-screen privacy.

Syntax

<form>
	<input type="password">
</form>

Example

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>My HTML Password Input Tag Example</title>
</head>
<body>
<form>
		User Name:
		<input type="text" size="15"/>
		<p>
		Password:<input type="password" size = "15"/>
		</p>
		<p>
		<input type=submit value="Submit"/>
		</p>
</form>
</body>
</html>
